This Privacy Policy explains how Milo collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website, mobile app, and watch app (“Service”).

a. Account Information

Name or username, email address, preferences, and other profile data stored in the users table.

b. Activity and Fitness Data

  • Activities (distance, time, coordinates, pace, etc.)

  • Workouts and structured training data

  • Routes (distance, elevation, coordinates)

  • User settings such as dark mode and race records

c. Apple Health Data

With your explicit Apple Health permissions:

  • We read data such as VO2 max, sleep, and past workouts.

  • We write workout data you complete using Milo.You can revoke these permissions at any time.

d. Location Information

Collected only during activities to track and record runs.

e. Automatically Collected Data

Through analytics tools like PostHog:

  • Device identifiers

  • App usage statistics

  • Website usage metrics

  • Performance data

  • Referral information

f. Subscription and Payment Data

Handled by Apple, RevenueCat, or app stores. Milo does not store full payment information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide and improve core features (routes, activities, workouts)

  • Generate training recommendations and insights

  • Display analytics and performance summaries

  • Sync with Apple Health

  • Maintain account functionality

  • Improve stability, security, and reliability

  • Perform anonymized analytics for product decisions

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data.We share data only with trusted service providers that operate essential parts of the Service:

  • Supabase (database and authentication)

  • PostHog (analytics)

  • RevenueCat and Apple (payments)

  • Vercel (hosting)

These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

5. Public Content

  • Routes may be public and shareable.

  • Activities are private by default.Other personal information is never made public.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active.You can delete your account at any time through the mobile or web app. This permanently deletes your personal data from our systems.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted storage and secure data transfer. No system is 100 percent secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

Milo does not knowingly collect data from children below the minimum age required by local law to use fitness apps. Users are responsible for ensuring lawful use in their region.

9. International Data Transfer

Your data may be processed in the United States or other regions where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of the updated version.
