What are biometrics and how does Milo use them?
Biometrics are your basic physical stats. Milo uses them to personalize your training and make features like Training Load and heart rate zones more accurate.
You can enter or update them anytime in Training Data > … > Edit Biometrics.
What Milo uses and why:
Gender: Helps improve accuracy for calorie estimates and Training Load.
Date of Birth: Lets us compare your performance to your age group.
Height: Helps complete your physical profile for future form insights.
Max Heart Rate: Anchors all your heart rate zones and Training Load.
Resting Heart Rate: A key indicator of fitness and recovery over time. Used to calculate Training Load.
Threshold Heart Rate: Gives the most precise heart rate zones if you know it. Used to calculate Training Load.
If you don’t know your numbers, no problem. You can leave them blank for now, and Milo offers simple field tests to help you find them later.
