My apple watch is not vibrating
If your Apple Watch isn’t vibrating for notifications or alerts, check these two places:
1. On Your Apple Watch
Go to Settings → Sounds & Haptics.
Ensure Haptic Alerts is turned on.
Tap Default or Prominent under Haptics for stronger vibrations.
Check that Silent Mode is not enabled (look for the red bell icon in Control Center).
2. On Your iPhone
Open the Watch app → My Watch → Sounds & Haptics.
Make sure Haptic Alerts are enabled here too.
If “Mirror iPhone” is selected, your Watch might only vibrate when your iPhone is locked. Try switching to Custom and manually enable Haptic Alerts.
Extra Tip:
If it still doesn’t work – restart both devices, check for software updates, or unpair and re-pair your Watch as a last resort.
