How can I customize the buttons on the watch?
If you have an Apple Watch Ultra, you can use the Action Button to launch Milo and control key parts of your workout. It’s the fastest way to start a run, mark laps, or manage your session without touching the screen.
Step 1: Set it up in the Apple Watch app
Before Milo can use the Action Button, you need to configure it in the official Apple Watch app:
Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
Go to Action Button.
Set Action to Workout.
Under App, choose Milo.
After this is set, the Action Button can launch Milo or start a run, depending on the behavior you choose.
Step 2: Customize it inside Milo
Now that Apple Watch knows Milo is your workout app, you can fine-tune how the Action Button behaves while using Milo:
Open the Milo app on your iPhone.
Go to the Activities tab.
Tap the Settings icon (gear).
Select Preferences.
Open Action Button.
What you can customize
Before a workout
Choose what the Action Button does when you’re not already in a workout:
Launch Milo
Start a run immediately
During a workout
Decide what a single press does while running:
Mark a lap (default)
Other available controls depending on preference
Action Button + Side Button
Pick what happens when you press both buttons at the same time:
Pause / Resume (default - and the most reliable hands-free control)
