How to record an activity
Recording any activity with Milo is designed to be quick and simple, getting you moving with just a few taps directly from your wrist.
Everything happens on your Apple Watch:
Open the App
Launch the Milo app on your Apple Watch.
Select Your Activity
You'll see the main screen where you can choose your activity type, such as Outdoor Run or Indoor Run. Tap on the one you want to do.
Check for Signal Lock
You are now on the "Start" screen. The app will automatically begin looking for a GPS signal (for outdoor activities) and your heart rate. You can start running right away but we recommend to wait a moment for the indicators to show that the signals are locked in and ready. This ensures your data will be accurate from the very beginning.
Tap Start and Go!
Once you have a signal lock, simply tap the large Start button to begin your workout.
Want to do a follow a route?
On this same "Start" screen, you can tap to choose a route to follow before you begin recording. But no worries, you can also do this after the run has started.
